One more thing... I'm going to pop the tile inside a Christmas card to fit into the envelope. I found one with a picture of a pink package on the front. Very Happy

Lovely bunny InKi and Nadine's message and Findy's dancing banana.
I'm back home and have to pick something up at the post office tomorrow morning so that's the perfect moment to send my tile off.

I still have to find some tape to fix my painting to the tile, so I haven't sent it yet. Might do that within the week though. Very Happy

nadine, I just used craft glue and weighted the tile so it would dry flat. Hopefully, it'll hold together over time. Ah well, if anything comes loose I'm sure Carol can fix it back on. It's a race to Carol's house!!

#2and I have finished our tiles. I redrilled his tile and filled the other holes. You can see them at the end of this album:

OK, that was my piece. #2's is here:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1063004&l=8f8ad&id=677043070

I think he really captured a defiant spirit. But I'm his mother, so I'm biased. He did his piece in pencil.

My piece is just meant to be cheerful and colorful. I love roses and butterflies and they're fun to draw and paint. It's done in acrylic paint and black ink. I made my first attempt at knot work--just a simple braid, but not as simple as it looks.

(before I stuck holes through!)

With this on the back:

All that is gold does not glitter
Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not reached by the frost

Posting it tomorrow!

Cool design, atalanta.

I can't wait to see how(e) she puts it all together. Each piece is so different and individual.

What a lot of fun.

Yay, everyone made great pieces !

Here's mine, I took the liberty to use my usual medium... The size is the same as the original tile, though. (just a little thicker).
